INEC Launches Portal for Ad-hoc Staff Recruitment
INEC Portal Launch
The
Independent National Electoral Commission, on Wednesday, September 7, 2022,
published a notice of portal launch and other important information about the
INECPRES on its official Facebook account to notify the general public about
the incoming recruitment of ad-hoc staff for the 2023 general elections.
The Commission
announced that all eligible applicants for registration of all categories of
ad-hoc staff – Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs), Presiding Officers (POs), Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs), Registration Area Technicians (RATECHs)
and Registration
Area Centre (RAC) managers, except the Collation Officers.
INEC Registration Portal
The Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the INEC recruitment
registration portal (INECPRES) is pres.inecnigeria.org.
According to
the information released by the INEC, a registration link to the INECPRES is
also available at the INEC website – www.inecnigeria.org.
Period of INEC Portal Launch
The INECPRES
will open to the general public next week on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 by 8:00am and close on Wednesday,
December 14, 2022 by 8:00pm.

In case of
any technical issues, you can reach INEC officers via this email address – pres@inec.gov.ng or call the phone
numbers of specific officers per state as detailed on the portal after
the launch.
INEC Recruitment Registration Format
The Commission
has made it public that all interested applicants are to fill in the
registration forms online via the Mobile App (for Android phone users only) or
the Web Portal (for those using a laptop or personal computer) to be eligible
for consideration as election staff in the 2023 general elections.
Important Notice about the INEC Recruitment Exercise
Contrary to the news in circulation,
the Independent National Electoral Commission is yet to start recruiting at the
moment.
The Commission only launched the portal and disclose the starting date of and deadline for online registration.
It should be noted that the INEC
recruitment application form is to be made available online and completely
FREE. Please! Do NOT give anybody money for an INEC registration form or bribe
to get selected.
