November in History

Has history been always interspersed with as much success as setbacks?

Have we gone as far away from it today as when history was ever narrated through stories in oral civilizations?

As the different civilizations drew closer to each other and the question of whose history is the correct version became more compelling, people started comparing the different accounts of history.

But it is typical of contemporary history writing that it is, so fact orientated.

When reports of the past clash, you can argue only by coming up with the evidence if your version of events is to be given credence.

Moreover, written sources still constitute the single most major tool of historical research to date.
