Introduction to the Nigerian Bottling Company Intensive Training Programme

The Nigerian Bottling Company is a beverage company that is the Coca-Cola franchise bottler in Nigeria. In addition, the company owns the Nigerian franchises for Fanta, Sprite, Schweppes, Ginger Ale, Limca, Krest, Parle Soda and Five Alive.

 

The Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) Limited is set to admit qualified temporary employees with learning potential to undertake an Intensive Training Programme on Technical and Leadership Skills Development in the following areas:

* Basic Bottling Process

* Industrial Mechatronics

* Automation and Process Control Engineering

* Logistics Operations

* Manufacturing Excellence tools

* Utility Maintenance and Operations

* Quality and Laboratory Processes

* Leadership and Team Management

 

As part of NBC’s corporate social responsibility, the initiative provides opportunities for temporary employees to become part of the NBC system.

 

 

Benefits of Participating in the Nigerian Bottling Company’s Intensive Training Programme

All temporary NBC employees or trainees who participate in the Nigerian Bottling Company Intensive Training Programme will or may:

> Enjoy a monthly stipend for the entire duration of the programme.

> Be admitted into NBC’s Supply Chain Academy located in Ikeja Plant, Lagos.

> Be exposed to both classroom and on-the-job training in the Nigerian Bottling Company’s state-of-the-art bottling plants across the country.

> Receive internal certificates of participation after the successful completion of the intensive training programme.

> Be offered permanent employment with the company as Technicians or Operators.

 

 

Eligibility Criteria or Entry Requirements for the Nigerian Bottling Company Intensive Training Programme

Applicants must possess the following required qualifications, among others:

1.   A minimum of Upper Credit in Ordinary National Diploma (OND) / Higher National Diploma (HND) or Second Class Lower B. Sc in any of the following fields of study:

       * Mechanical Engineering

       * Electrical/Electronic Engineering

       * Production and Materials Engineering

       * Mechatronic Engineering

       * Chemical Engineering

       * Laboratory Sciences

       * Microbiology

 

2.   Interested candidates should be willing to stay in Lagos during the first few months for training and be willing to work in any part of the country where NBC plants are located.
