Project T-Max: Latest Update on TVET Programme Pre-Selection Exercise
About the Project T-Max or TVET Programme
We updated
our dear readers earlier this month in one of our posts titled "15,000 Nigerian Youths to Receive Free TVET Skills by December 2022," about the Federal government's
empowerment - a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
Programme dubbed Project T-Max.
Project
T-Max (also known as the TVET Programme) was approved by the National
Steering Committee on National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy (NPRGS) as
one of the core interventions to achieve the Federal Government's goal of
lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty by 2030, implemented by the
administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Latest TVET Programme Pre-selection Exercise Update
This is to
inform all the interested and registered applicants who applied online for the TVET
programme (Project T-Max) that the pre-selection screening exercise has
commenced.
The management
team in charge of the Project T-Max (TVET programme) has sent out emails to all
the shortlisted applicants.
The rolled-out
email includes the applicant’s full name, screening date, time, centre, and
address as well as documents you are expected to come along with when coming to
the pre-selection screening exercise at the specified screening venue.
In addition
to the above information, all applicants are expected to also take note of the
following:
1.
You are
expected to be punctual to your screening venue.
2.
All applicants
are expected to be of good conduct at the screening centres.
3.
Only
applicants who meet all the screening criteria will be selected to commence
training.
Commencement Date of the TVET Programme’s Pre-selection Screening Exercise
For those
who registered under Lagos and Ogun States, your pre-selection screening exercise
will come up on Friday, September 30,
2022 as shown in the screenshot below:
How to Know Whether You Are Shortlisted or Not for the TVET Programme’s Pre-selection Screening Exercise
To know
whether you have been shortlisted for the TVET programme pre-selection
screening exercise, kindly check the email address you used for the online
registration to confirm your respective pre-selection screening date, time,
centre and address plus other necessary information because the programme will
be done across Nigeria.
Don’t forget
to check your SPAM in case you don’t see the email in your INBOX. The email is
titled “Project T-Max: You have been
Shortlisted for the Pre-Selection Screening”.
The printed
copy of your email is one of the major requirements to enter the Project T-Max
pre-selection screening exercise venue.
Additional Latest TVET Programme Update
Kindly be
aware that the registration for Project
T-Max has been closed for the residents of Lagos and Ogun States.
All selected
applicants will be contacted between September
26th and September 30th, 2022.
While
Project T-Max training will begin on Monday, October 3rd, 2022, in all selected
centres across the state.
